Kings Mountain embraces as its vision and theme: “Active, Healthy, Historic,” a phrase which accurately describes the city, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains between Greenville, South Carolina, and Charlotte, NC. The city takes its name from the Battle of Kings Mountain, which is one of the most important battles in American history, dubbed the turning point of the American Revolution in the South.

Charlotte, North Carolina is one of the largest cities in the region, boasting a beautiful skyline, a bustling professional network, and some of the best restaurants in the South. But what makes the Queen City special is not just its urban appeal, but its ability to balance the city’s high-tempo lifestyle with parks and preserves that retain its natural beauty.

With two basketball courts, six tennis courts, five lighted soccer fields and two horseshoe pits, Colonel Beatty Park has plenty of space for individuals or teams to participate in a variety of recreational activities.
